THINGS TO KNOW - BARBIE'S HAIR
- Color Variations: Blondes and lighter color extensions may be less curly/wavy than darker colors due to the extensive processing they undergo.
- Natural Differences: Each order may have variations in texture, color, and curl pattern since it's 100% human hair.
- Weaving Tips: Avoid weaving more than 2 tracks per row to prevent tangling and ease brushing.
- Straight Hair: May develop a loose wave after washing; use a flat iron to straighten if desired.
- Shedding: Cutting the weave can cause shedding. Apply bonding glue to the track before cutting to minimize this.
- Gray Hair: Can turn yellowish with frequent heat application. Use purple shampoo and conditioner (e.g., Shimmering Lights) to counteract yellowing.
- Color Bleeding: Dark and vibrant colors may bleed initially. Wash blacks, reds, and auburns before installation; bleeding will stop after a few washes.
- Length Measurement: Curly/wavy hair is measured when the curl/wave is fully extended.

Barbie's Hair Extensions

1. Initial Check: Inspect your hair extensions before use to ensure the texture, color, and length meet your expectations. We will not be responsible for the hair extensions if they are not in their original condition.
2. Cleaning Routine: Wash your hair extensions at least once a week and immediately after swimming, spa visits, or exercise to prevent dirt and sweat buildup, which can cause tangling. Use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and avoid sulfate free shampoo and conditioner.
3. Swimming Precautions: Wear a cap while swimming to protect the hair from chlorine and salt water. Wash the hair right after swimming with shampoo and conditioner.
4. Sleeping and Exercise: Braid the hair into a couple of large braids before sleeping, swimming, or exercising. Ensure the hair is completely dry before going to bed to prevent tangling.
5. Leave-in Conditioner: Make a leave-in conditioner by mixing 10% conditioner with 90% water. Apply lightly to the hair extensions and brush from the ends to the top. Regularly washing your hair extensions prevents buildup from sweat, dirt, and hair products.
6. Product Use: You can use mousse, gel, hairspray, oils, and leave-in conditioners on your extensions, but only if you wash them at least once a week. The more products used the more the hair needs to be washed.

Maintenance: Regular washing ensures your hair extensions remain clean, bouncy, and tangle-free. Treat your Barbie's hair extensions with the same care as your own hair.

All of our hair, whether for weaving or braiding is sent out in a combed-out state. Because every order is custom-made in our factory, to make it as easy as possible for you or your stylist to work with. Braiding hair is combed out to save your braider time and effort, and weaving hair is stitched more efficiently when it is combed out. This ensures a smooth process from install to finish!

However, it's important to note that due to the natural characteristics of human hair and our commitment to providing customized products, there may be slight variations in the hair extensions you receive compared to the original hair.

Variations in Hair:

Human hair, by its nature, can exhibit natural variations in color, texture, and length. Therefore, there is a 3 to 5% chance that the hair extensions you receive may differ slightly from the original hair in terms of color and texture. While we strive to maintain consistency in our products, these minor variations are inherent to the nature of human hair and are not considered defects.

Each set of hair extensions is meticulously crafted to ensure the best possible match to your desired specifications. However, since we specialize in custom products, there may be slight differences between the hair extensions you receive and any samples or references provided at the time of order.
